SHAREPOINT CONSULTANT
Reporting to: Technical Director
JOB PURPOSE
-
Engaging with clients in pre and post sales environments
-
Manage and implement SharePoint Projects (intranets/extranets) to clients
-
Provide the highest level of customer service and technical expertise to customers at all time
RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Determine customer needs and understand business/user requirements
-
Write up functional specifications and ensuring sign-off with agreed budget
-
Deliver projects to agreed budget and timescales
-
Understand business requirements and be able to translate this into logical system workflows
-
Engage with software developers and other resources where required
-
Be a fully competent expert in SharePoint 2007/2010 (Foundation/Server)
-
Be a fully competent expert in SharePoint Designer
-
Configure and implement features of the SharePoint platform
-
For client projects:
-
Document Management
-
Business Processes Automation
-
System Migration
-
Business intelligence
REQUIREMENTS
-
Minimum of 3 years SharePoint experience
-
Previous experience of client facing roles and ability to understand business requirements
-
Enterprise Content Management experience
-
Ability to quickly learn and acquire new technologies
-
Desirable: Experience of SharePoint 2010 Architecture and design
PERSONAL

Good communication skills with the ability to communicate (verbally and written) to all levels of the business

Self-starter who is self-motivated and highly resourceful
-
Continually contributes to business output

Full driving license
CUSTOMER SERVICE
-
Provide the highest level of service to our clients at all times

Provide telephone/remote support post installation, troubleshooting if necessary
-
Work to exacting project timelines and delivery requirements
-
Ensure exceptional service levels are attained and delivered to clients at all times
OTHER
-
Via continual self study ensure understanding of current technology and its application to business
-
Internally maintain records of site set up/configuration, time taken etc in order to facilitate invoicing, management reports, support etc.

Any other duties as may be reasonably be assigned from time to time
