Case Study – Structura UK is a specialist contractor within the building and construction sector.  It designs, fabricates, and installs building products such as windows, smoke vents, roof vents, curtain-walling, atria glazing, entrances, ground floor treatments and rainscreen facades.  All of its products are manufactured in the UK and are designed and built to meet or exceed the demands of ISO 9001.

Typical of other organisations within the construction industry, Structura has a heavy project schedule to keep track of. Financial Director, Robert Sanders, believed that Access Dimensions would help him cope with these project requirements.  He said, “We might have 30 projects running concurrently, Access Dimensions allows me to keep track of what’s been spent, what’s committed and what the budget is at any given moment.  I can happily tell the construction managers the financial state of all their jobs.  I just enter costing, then records, and then select a project.  This provides me with the option to select cost centres and the total (which in our case is 40 cost centres) and just click on each one to get the information I need.”
